Istomin seems to have turned the tables around as he playing powerful service games. Istomin holds to love and pockets the first game of the deciding set.

Denis Istomin makes a comeback and takes second set

Dragging for 71 minutes, the second set was full on drama as Denis Istomin cashes in on his experience to win the second set 6-7.

We are into the decider now!

Denis Istomin is really stepping up here and what a turnaround we are witnessing here! 

Istomin leads 6-4 in the tie-break.

Nagal gets the first point of the tie break. 

He leads 1-0 in the second set tie break.

TIE-BREAK ALERT!

Things have heated up in the second set here and it looks like we have a tie-breaker on our hands as the former World No. 33 really puts pressure here.

Lo and behold! Istomin makes a comeback and breaks Nagal who is showing signs of nerves here at the Ariake Tennis Park.
