Billie Jean King Cup 2025: India lose to The Netherlands - HIGHLIGHTS

Billie Jean King Cup 2025 Highlights: India lost to the Netherlands 3-0 in the final pool match of the 2025 Billie Jean King Cup play-offs at the SM Krishna Tennis Stadium in Bangalore on Sunday.

Shrivalli Bhamidipaty and Sahaja Yamalapalli lost their singles rubber. Shrivalli lost to Anouk Koevermans 2-6, 4-6 while Sahaja lost to Suzan Lamens 2-6, 3-6.

The Dutch followed it up with another win in the doubles when Suzan Lamens paired up with Demi Schuurs to beat Ankita Raina-Prarthana Thombare 6-1, 6-1.

The match was a dead rubber for both sides having lost their respective opening pool matches against Slovenia in Group G action. Both India and the Netherlands will now be relegated to their respective continental groups next year.

The Dutch won the tie 3-0 against India in Group G match of the Billie Jean Kings Cup in Bengaluru.
