#Breaking Judge Anthony Kelly has rule that Djokovic be released from immigration detention within in 30 minutes. He says the visa cancellation decision will be quashed and the government wil have to pay his costs.

Djokovic wins Round 1 of his legal appeal on procedural grounds, quashing the border officer’s initial decision to cancel Djokovic’s visa.

The Australian government has expressed its readiness to recancel the visa and redetain Djokovic, so Round 2 is coming soon.

A question lingering: if Djokovic was claiming a coronavirus positive in last six months as reason for an exemption, when did he get it?
