What a big win to start the tournament for India! Ayhika Mukherjee stunned world number Sun Yingsha to win the first match. She dropped one game and won three to give India 1-0 lead.
A brilliant win for Ayhika in the third game!
Ayhika comes back roaring in the third game to win 13-11. She was trailing 6-9 at one point but courtesy of her brilliant forehand winners and some good defence, she leads 2-1 against the world number one.

A comprehensive loss for Ayhika in the second game as she was completely clueless against the winners of Sun and loses 11-2.

Not a great start for Ayhika in the second game as she is trailing massively after changing sides. Couple of unforced errors and two winners from Sun has resulted in the Indian paddled losing her momentum.

A brilliant comeback from Ayhika as she wins the first game 12-10 after going down 7-10 at one point. A good display of defence from Ayhika as she thwarted the attacks of Sun when required to put pressure on her and win the game with her forehand winners.
