Sathiyan-Manika surrender the first game
That seemed to be way too easy for the Japanese pair as they pocket the first game 11-5. Lot of toil needed from Sathiyan and Manika to equalise.

The joy does not last long for Batra-Gnanasekaran as the Japanese pair wins 3 in a row to edge 3-1 ahead.
