India's table tennis journey at the Paris Olympics kicked off with a win with Harmeet Desai defeating Jordanian Zaid Yaman 11-7, 11-9, 11-5, 11-5 in straight sets. 

After a slow start, Harmeet was on full flow as he dominated his opponent and secured a rather comfortable victory. 

He will face France's Felix Lebrun in the next round on 28th July.

He was a tad nervy in the first Game but did well to win it and since then, went from strength to strength and has proceeded to the next round.
