Welcome to The Bridge's LIVE Blog for Day 3 of Shooting at the Tokyo Olympics.

Both the Indian shooters in action at the Tokyo Olympics today exited the event without qualifying for the final. While Angad Bajwa finished 18th in Men's Skeet qualification round, Mairaj Khan finished an even lowly 25th.

With their exit, Indian sports fans will have to wait one more day to see their country winning their first medal in the sport at Tokyo.

Five events in three days so far, and yet not a single medal for India in Shooting - a sport they were expected to dominate at the Tokyo Olympics.

That's all the action we had from the Indian shooters today at the Asaka Shooting Range.

Angad Bajwa finishes 18th in Men's Skeet qualification with 120 hits, while Mairaj finishes 25th with 117.

Mairaj Ahmad Khan hits 23 targets in the final round and finishes with a total of 117. He is currently at 25th position, and that is pretty much it for India from Men's Skeet. Official confirmation in a bit.

Angad Bajwa hits 24 off the 25 targets in his final round. He finishes with a total of 120 out of 125, but this sadly will not be enough to take him through to the final!

Bajwa has hit the target 18 times out of 19 in the fifth round so far, and has fallen down to number 18 in the rankings.

Angad Bajwa has once again started off the round well. He has hit the target all six times so far in round 5 and has moved up to 15th position.

The fifth and final round of Men's Skeet qualification event is underway at the Asaka Shooting Range. 

Chances look very bleak for the two Indians in fray to make it to the final. But, in shooting you never know!
