Nethra Kumanan ends at 33rd place

The first leg of the race has ended and India is currently placed at 33rd place. She managed to recover in the 3rd leg of the race despite being at 40 for the first 2 legs. 

Approaching the finish

Spain wins the first leg with Greece in 2nd place. Malaysia, Germany, Denmark all follow

4th marks is finally crossed

Spain Greece and Denmark all in the lead. The wind had picked up as well as they head in the opposite direction. 

The wind seems to have slowed down a bit as the sailers try to cross the 4th mark.

Good Signs

Position change for India

Nethra Kumanan goes up to 33 with a 7 position jump.

Approach to Mark 3

Germany and Spain are in the lead. It is extremely tight for third position as Malaysia and Denmark  are all vying for the same position. 

Spain, Cyprus and Malaysia have been in the consistent lead for the past 1000m

2nd Mark Crossed

Not too many lead changes as Spain maintains their lead. India still at position 40.
