India won the gold medal in the men's skeet team event while the women settled for silver on the fourth competition day of the ISSF Shooting World Cup here on Monday. The Indian team of Gurjoat Khangura, Mairaj Ahmad Khan and Angad Vir Singh Bajwa beat Qatar's Nasser Al-Attiya, Ali Ahmed A O Al-Ishaq and Rashid Hamad 6-2 on the shotgun range of the Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range.

In the 10m Air Pistol event, Yashaswini Singh Deswal and Abhishek Verma bagged the bronze medal after getting the better of Turkey's Sevval Ilayda Tarhan and Ismail Keles 17-13 at the Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range.
Earlier this morning, Elavenil Valarivan and Divyansh Singh Panwar had combined to claim the 10m Air Rifle mixed team gold.
The Indians beat Golnoush Sebhatollahi and Javed Foroughi of Iran 16-12, making a brilliant rally after trailing 0-4 at the end of the second series. This is India's fifth gold at the ongoing event.
The 2021 Orleans Masters tournament starts tomorrow and is the first Super 100 tournament that are to be held this year.

India's Divyansh Singh Panwar and Elavenil Valarivan produced some excellent shooting to comfortably claim the gold medal in the 10m mixed air rifle event of the ISSF World Cup here on Monday. The India duo shot a combined total of 16 in the gold medal match to finish ahead of Hungarian world number one Istvan Peni and Eszter Denes who managed 10.
With the emergence of young talent, shotgun shooting in India is set for a turnaround having endured a barren run in the past few years, feels national coach Mansher Singh.
Hosts India reached on top of the medals tally of the ongoing ISSF World Cup, adding four more medals to their kitty, including two Gold and a historic Bronze in Women’s Skeet. The two Golds that India won on Sunday came in the Men’s and Women’s 10M Air Pistol team events.
There was also history created at the Shotgun ranges when Ganemat Sekhon became the first Indian woman to win an ISSF World Cup medal in Women’s Skeet. She won bronze, finishing with a score of 40 in the final. Earlier, she had also shot a career-best score of 117 out of 125 in qualifying, to make it to the six-woman final.
