Sreeshankar Murali is going to Tokyo Olympics! The youngster took a 8.26 m long jump at the Federation Cup in Patiala breaching the Olympics qualifying mark of 8.22. This is also a national record.

Dhana Lakshmi continues her form after the getting the better of Hima Das and Dutee Chand in the final of 100m at the Federation Cup Senior Athletics Championships held in National Institute of Sports (NIS) Patiala. 

The sprinter from Tamil Nadu clocked 11.39 seconds while Dutee finished second with 11.58 seconds.

The Olympic qualification timing was 11.15 seconds.
