The defending champions Puneri Paltan started their title defense with the opening match of their season against Haryana Steelers at 9:00 PM IST.
Meanwhile, the host Telugu Titans who had a winning start to the season took on Tamil Thalaivas in the second match of the season at 8:00 PM IST.
As it happened:
Puneri Paltan had a dominating start to their campaign at Pro Kabaddi League season 11 against Haryana Steelers.
Puneri went into the second half with a good lead made a plan to play for do-or-die raids and slowly extended their lead in the match which later doubled as they induced another all-out over Haryana.
A super raid in the end from Sanskar reduced the deficit for Haryana but it wasn't enough as they went empty-handed from the match.

The defending champions showed their class and started the season with a solid display in both attacks and defense.
The match had a slow start as both teams were a bit cautious in attack but the Puneri Palrtan turned the match with a couple of good raids and then induced an all-out to grab a 5+ points lead.
Defender Gaurav Khatri was the star man for Puneri as he completed his high five in the first half itself meanwhile the Iranian Shadoui of Haryana was kept on bay by Puneri's raiders.
