At the JRD TATA stadium on Sunday, Kerala Blasters defeated Jamshedpur FC for the very first time in the Indian Super League. Both teams gave it their all, and Dimitrios Diamantakos scored the only goal.

The Blasters dominated the first half in every category. The visitors had numerous chances but were only able to change the score sheet once. Adrian Luna was fouled just outside the box, resulting in a free kick. Luna sent a dipping cross into the box, and Dimitrios scored past Rehenesh TP.

Jamshedpur came out firing in the second half, determined to turn the game around. They had their chances, but were unable to beat Prabhsukhan Gill. This is the first time Kerala Blasters have defeated Jamshedpur in the furnace, and it is also their fourth straight victory. Ivan Vukomanovic's team has now risen to fifth place on the table.
