Kerala Blasters defeated Jamshedpur FC today at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. The hosts started on the front foot looking for an early goal. The striker saw the goalkeeper off his line and chipped it nto the net.However Kerala Blasters took the lead from a penalty. Jessel Carneiro tried to cross the ball into the net but it hits the hand of Boris and the referee pointed to the spot. Dimitrios makes no mistake and sends the ball into the net in the 31st minute. Jamshedpur had their moments of brilliance but the hosts dominated most of the first half.Jamshedpur FC enthusiastically reentered the match. In the opening three minutes, they had two chances to equalise, but neither opportunity resulted in a goal. The hosts took over the game after the initial misstep. Adrian Luna's goal for Kerala Blasters in the 65th minute put an end to the battle. Adrian Luna got the ball in the middle of the field and passed to Rahul KP. He then played it to Dimitrios Diamantakos who passed it the first time to Apostolos Giannou who in turn played a back heel to Adrian Luna. He slams it into the net and also to the history books.Jamshedpur FC had multiple chances however they were unlucky.
