ISL will witness its first Kolkata derby with fans in the stands!
ATK Mohun Bagan continued their recent dominance over neighbours East Bengal in the ISL with a 2-0 win on Saturday.
East Bengal held out for a 0-0 scoreline till the end of the first half against ATK Mohun Bagan in the Kolkata derby but a goalkeeping howler from Kamaljit Singh gifted Hugo Boumous a goal in the 56th minute. Manvir Singh doubled Mohun Bagan's lead with a piledriver from the right in the 66th minute.

There goes the final whistle and East Bengal draw a blank on the Kolkata Derby. ATKMB found the net twice within 10 minutes in the second half, and that is more than enough for them for a memorable night.
This is also ATKMB's first clean sheet of the season, and what a night to achieve that.

Four extra minutes added to the clock now, but do not think this is going to matter. The shoulders in the East Bengal camp have dropped drastically. They are merely going through the motions at the moment.

A beautiful run in the left flank from East Bengal, but there is no one in the box to collect the cross. They recover to get a shot on goal, but it is collected cleanly by the ATKMB goalie.
The Mariners are bossing around now. East Bengal seem deflated, but they have not given up yet. Time is running out for them.

Good build up play from ATKMB as the ball finds Manvir on the right flank as the Indian takes a touch, tees up his shot and scores! Kamaljit could have done better as the ball took a deflection against him, again, and went in.

That was a volleyball move if anything. Whatever it was, it was nothing close to being a save. Kamaljit with what has been a defining moment in the match. He will hope there is more to this match, otherwise it could soon define his season, or even his career. What a howler in the derby!
Hugo Boumous takes a shot from afar and Kamaljit Singh couldn't make a proper save as it ricochets off his gloves and rustles the net. That's a howler! Goalkeeping howler!
