24' - AKASHDEEP GOES WIDE!

Akashdeep, once again, tries a tomahawk from a difficult angle but this time the shot goes wide off the far post.

Varun with the drag flick and he hits it straight to the goalkeeper. India, for a moment, is interested on the rebound, but the South African defence is alert and clear it away.

Playing his 200th match, Mandeep Singh does what he does the best. Earns a PC.

18' - SOUTH AFRICA HIT WIDE!

A good aerial pass from South Africa and they have completely opened up the Indian defence. Nilam Sanjeep Xess is the only defender in range and he seemed wrong footed as well. Keenan Horne, however, hits his shot wide.

That also brings an end to the first quarter of this match. 15 minutes completely dominated by India. They have a two-goal cushion, but would want to improve on their passing.
