46' - Spain frustrated with umpire's decision

Spain come very, very close to scoring but the umpire's whistle goes against them. They in fact had the ball in the net, but it does not stand. They are frustrated with that decision but they do not have any referral left. They blew it early in the third quarter.

LUCKY FOR INDIA, AGAIN!

Spain were clearly the better side in that quarter, but India manage to hold on to their lead with luck by their side. The home side did manage to equalise, only for it to be disallowed after a fantastic referral from India.

15 minutes left between India and a slot in the Pro League. Can they hang on to this one-goal lead?

45' - GREEN CARD, UDITA!

Deliberate foul from Udita as Spain come on a dangerous counter attack. Off she goes for 2 minutes with a green card. But, that really was a very well thought out move from the Indian.

41' - Spain's goal disallowed!

Spain have equalised. Savita dives and saves once, but she could not stop the rebound shot from going in. The rebound was inside the net even before the Indian skipper could get back on her feet.

India challenges the decision and they have managed to get the goal disallowed!

Though Spain have been pressing forward decently, India are doing well to control the tempo of the game.

Savita Punia stretches her leg wide to intercept a cross, before the Indian defenders converge to clear it for India. That could have well gone into the net if not for the Indian goalkeeper.

Twin saves from the Spain goalkeeper as she first blocks Gurjit's drag flick and then the rebound from India. Yet another chance missed by the women in blue.

Penalty Corner awarded to India for a stick challenge from Spain inside the circle. They challenge the decision only to lose their referral.

Spain on the attack straightaway in the second half, but India take control of the ball right in front of their goal post and create a counter.

Half the match over in the final of the FIH Women's Pro League Final and India have a one-goal advantage. Both teams were equally matched for a major part of the contest but the women in blue have their nose ahead, thanks to their PC specialist Gurjit Kaur.
