India's campaign in the World Cup started on a horrid note, falling to a 4-5 defeat against underdogs France. With the title defence on the line, the youngsters led by Vivek Sagar Prasad hit back with a thumping 13-1 win over Canada to get things back on track.
However, things are not done yet. A loss today will put them out of the title race. Can the Indian colts maintain their winning run?

They wanted to keep a clean sheet, but though that did not happen, they will be mighty pleased with the win and their quarterfinal spot. Sudeep, Sanjay and Araijeet all scored a brace each while Shardanand and Uttam Singh chipped in with one apiece to complete the rout.
Still a lot to improve on for the Indians but for now it is time to sit back and relax for a day or two and hopefully Maninder Singh, who was stretchered off the field, will be fit by then.
The final quarter was madness, but they manage to regroup and score twice and end the match on a high. A 8-2 win and they have assured themselves of a quarterfinal spot!

Poland enter the circle once again, but the Indian defence coordinate well to avert any possible threat.

And no, it is not from a PC. A field goal for Sanjayy after 7 PCs in the tournament. A reverse flick from Sudeep saved, but Sanjay is right near the net to slot it in.

The Indians seem to have regrouped well here. They have slowed down the pace of the game for now, but Poland is still pressing.
Pawan fails to keep the reverse flick out this time. Poland has scored from the field. Poor, poor play from the Indians and they are again down to 10 men.

The Indians are clearly crumbling here. One more attempt from the Polish star and the goalkeeper saves, again!
Poland penetrates once again, flicks one on target but the Indian keeper saves. That could have easily gone in.
