A stick-check on Zalewski earns Kalinga Lancers a PC. Alexander Hendrickx with the drag flick and it is saved by Harte. They get a second one and this time the first rusher deflects it away.

Yet another brilliant set up from Kalinga Lancers, who launch a grounded ball right down the centre. Antoine Kina receives it and by the time he takes a shot David Harte is already down the pitch to cut down the angle. BEST OF THE THREE SAVES!

The Kalinga Lancers have earned a penalty corner and Amit Rohidas comes rushing in to deflect the drag flick away. Rohidas is the best in the business for no reason, now is he?

David Harte with yet another save. Another brilliant steal and counter from the Lancers and Antoine Kina has a shot. Kicked away by Harte.

The Kalinga Lancers continue to press forward and create opportunities in this match. Angad Bir Singh has a shot at the goal from close quarters, but David Harte helps Tamil Nadu Dragons to deny. That was a good save.

That also brings curtains down on the first half. The Tamil Nadu Dragons started in a stunning fashion, thanks to Sorsby earning a penalty corner just 30 seconds into the match. However, they have since calmed down a lot.

Instead it is the Lancers, who have called the shots since then with Dilpreet being a live wire in the field.

15' - Good steal from Dilpreet

A good steal and turnover from Dilpreet. He rushes into the circle and passes the ball, but that's a wild, wild swing of the stick from his teammate. No connection, of course.

12' - Good interception from Dilpreet

The Tamil Nadu Dragons build from the back and look to force a move. Dilpreet Singh comes up with a good, clean interception inside the circle and starts a counter for Kalinga Lancers.

Gursahabjit is cornered at the baseline on the left side of the goal. He tries to pull it in, but the pass is far from ideal. Danger averted, thankfully, for Tamil Nadu Dragons.

8' - Not a lot happening

Apart from that early run in from Thomas Sorsby, which resulted in all that drama, there has been nothing noteworthy so far. A lot of midfield turnovers from both sides and hence no real chance created.

As I type this, the Tamil Nadu Dragons try to penetrate from the left but the move is soon shut down by the Lancers' defence.

1' - Dragons miss two PCs

The first drag flick from Jip Jansen hits the first runner on the hand and the Dragons are handed another PC. The Lancers review but are proven wrong. They still keep the review though.

Alexander Hendrickx of Lancers isn't happy with the call and is arguing with the umpires with a couple of his teammates. They ultimately get back to play only for Jansen to put his second drag flick wide of the post.
