HIL Highlights: The Tamil Nadu Dragons beat Kalinga Lancers in a tense penalty shootout which went into a sudden death at the Birsa Munda Stadium in Rourkela on Friday.

That's all we have from the clash between Kalinga Lancers and Tamil Nadu Dragons at the Hockey India League tonight. The Lancers had the lead twice in the match, but the Dragons fought back to equaliser both the times.
The Lancers were the more dominant team in the field with 28 circle penetrations, but they just could not find a way to score.
Having reached the full time at 2-2, the Dragons sensed an opportunity and took it. They had lost their campaign opener in a shootout, but they ensured that no such hiccups happen this time around.
Even as the shootout went to the wire, they held their own to win 6-5 and earn the bonus point.
The Dragons will make a move in the points table, but the Lancers will continue to be at the last spot.
