A school-boy error from Sudev hands Soorma Hockey Club a penalty corner. Jeremy Hayward takes the drag flick and it is blocked by Harte. The rebound goes to Gurjant Singh, who lobs the ball in.

Harmanpreet Singh enters the circle and takes a shot. Uttam Singh tries to block it, but instead copes a blow to the back of his wrist. A quick medical intervention.

49' - TAMIL NADU DRAGONS SCOREEE!

A PC for Tamil Nadu Dragons, but Amit Rohidas' dragflick hits the first rusher. They get a second PC and this time it is Jip Jansen with the drag flick.

The flick is blocked by Soorma goalkeeper Vincent Vanasch, but Nathan Ephramus finds himself just at the right position to send it in. It was messy. But how does it matter? The Dragons rejoice!

The Soormas asked for a review on that goal and are proven wrong. They lose their review. The Dragons are on cloud nine.

47' - Solid block from Thomas Sorsby

A dangerous stick rise on Gurinder Singh inside the circle and he asks for a PC. The Soormas are handed a PC. But Thomas Sorsby at the post, just blocks the dragflick with his stick. That was phenomenal!

15 minutes more have passed, but the deadlock remains. There was a lot more attacking intent this quarter, but nothing has really translated. Both teams are matching each other move for move and it would be interesting to see if any of these sides have an ace up their sleeve in the last 15 minutes.

The Tamil Nadu Dragons try to penetrate from the right flank via Mohammed Raheel, but Sukhvinder not only blocks him but also steals the ball. Victor Wegnez is thrilled with that effort from the Indian.

The Soorma Hockey Club come to attack and Jip Jansen fails to get his foot out of the way. A penalty corner for the Soormas.

Harmanpreet Singh takes the drag flick, but David Harte extends his leg out and the ball just bounces off it and reaches the mid-field almost. That was ferocious from Harmanpreet and equally good save from Harte.

A penalty corner for Tamil Nadu Dragons after a foot inside the circle from a Soorma Hockey Club defender. However, Jip Jansen's dragflick is wide once again.
