Gonasika have taken over the control in the last few minutes but it is not enough to trouble the Rudras, who seem to be very happy their one-goal advantage.

Some luck inside the circle for Team Gonasika and they earn yet another penalty corner. Araijeet Singh Hundal with an extremely powerful drag flick, but James Mazarello denies with a solid save. That ball was travelling!
The Rudras come on a counter attack off that save from Mazarello, but Sudeep Chirmako fires his shot over the goal post.

The UP Rudras get us underway as action resumes in the second half.

Curtains on an very interesting first half. The Rudras have been more dominating in the midfield and they also have a goal to show for it, thanks to Hardik Singh.
Team Gonasika haven't done too bad either, but they just haven't been able to get that finishing touch inside the circle. They have earned quite a few penalty corners but have failed to convert.

Draper with a shove on the back of a Rudras player and he picks up a green card. Gonasika down to ten minute with over a minute left in the second quarter.

A good shot from Sudeep Chirmako for the Rudras and Suraj Karkera comes up with a double save to stop them from doubling their lead. Good stuff from the Indian goalkeeper.

18' - Gonasika miss PCs!
Team Gonasika earn a penalty corner, thanks to a defenders foot inside the circle. They, however, miss despite having multiple attempts.
The Rudras create a counter attack off the final PC attempt, but Gonasika do well to keep things in check.

There was nothing to separate the two teams until the last minute. But UP Rudras head into the break with their noses ahead. They were handed a penalty stroke and skipper Hardik Singh made no mistake.
Gonasika would do well to not think too much about that goal and keep pressuring the Rudras.
