Mandeep Singh's quick run down the right flank results in a penalty corner for India as he has brought down inside the circle, and the umpire gives India a PC. 

21' Goal! India takes 3-2 lead

India earns another penalty corner after charging into the circle. It is Shamsher with the ball and Dawson tackles him. And the umpire gives India a PC.  

Harmanpreet's powerful drag flick slaps the board. Australian goalkeeper Charter cannot stop it as the ball goes between his legs. 

India, after trailing 0-2, is now leading the match 3-2. What a turnaround! India has now clearly taken control of the match as Australian defence looks shaky. 

18' Sukhjeet gets India on level terms

India's two penalty corners end with no result, but it earns a free hit, and Sukhjeet plays a great shot to put one past Charter to get India on level terms. India 2-2 Australia. 

India is looking sharp in the second quarter.

Australia makes a quick start to the match by scoring two goals in two minutes. India, however, manages to reduce the margin from a Harmanpreet Singh drag flick. Near the end of the first quarter, India also shows better penetration skills in the Australian circle. India trails 1-2 at the end of the first quarter.
