A terrible foul from the Pakistani defence, as Rajkumar Pal is taken down. The Indian wants as PC, but that was just in front of the circle.

Second half starts!
The second half is underway and Pakistan with the possession to start off. Pakistan's captain gets a warning for a tackle and Samsher Singh penetrates for India. He tries to get a PC, but fails in earning one.
"We were unlucky with the umpire's decision"
The Pakistani head coach is not happy with the decision to hand India the PC.
"We were unlucky with the umpire's decision. It should not happen in a match like this," he says in the half-time interview
Story so far
The first half was all about Pakistan's well-maintained defence. The Indians threatened to score on multiple occasions, but the Pakistani defence held their own. They did concede one though, but that was an unstoppable drag-flick from Harmanpreet Singh.
The men in green did try to press, but nothing has been enough to trouble the Indian defence so far.

Pakistan penetrates in the circle. It seemed dangerous, but the Indian defence managed to clear it. The men in blue then get on a counter, courtesy a brilliant run down the middle from Lalit Upadhyay, but he eventually lets the ball touch his boots before the final whistle.

Multiple opportunities missed!
Manpreet Singh finds some space, the ball reaches Rajkumar Pal in the circle and his shot is saved. India get on with it quickly, Dilpreet has a clear shot and he hits it wide of the post.

Dilpreet Singh with a perfect pass to Shilanand Lakra, who tries to penetrate the circle. But, the Pakistani defence comes up with a brilliant, clean tackle. Wonderful!

Pakistan penetrates this time. They try to earn a penalty corner, but the Indian defence is alert. The ball goes out of bounds and India has the possession.

Yet another card for India. Nilam Xess with the green this time to take India down to 10 men.
India continue to press
The Indians continue to press forward, but the Pakistan defence has managed to keep it under check. Occasional counters for the men in green but nothing threatnening.
