India are 2023 Hockey Asian Champions Trophy winners after beating Malaysia 4-3 in the final.

India beat Malaysia 4-3 in the Hockey Asian Champions Trophy final to win a fourth ACT title. India had won it in 2011, 2016 and 2018 previously.

In Chennai on Saturday, Jugraj Singh scored the first goal within the opening minutes to get India ahead in the final, but Malaysia stung back with three goals to go into the half-time break at 3-1. India mounted a comeback in the second half to level scores at 3-3. The come-from-behind was complete with a 55th minute goal by Akashdeep Singh.
