Santosh Trophy: Karnataka beat Services 3-1 to enter final — Highlights

The match rolls on after another long injury timeout in added time. Services throw the kitchen sink, Karnataka manage to hold their line. 

Finally the whistle blows at 100:44. It'll be Karnataka vs Meghalaya in the final on Saturday. These two teams have never faced each other in a Santosh Trophy final. While one have never played the final, the other have not played it since being renamed from Mysore.

Seven minutes of added time. Karnataka continue playing the wasting time strategy with injuries. Services now look to throw everything they have left.

Another long ranger tipped over by the Karnataka keeper. It's been a clinical performance from them, they just need to hold out for a few more minutes. 

Against the run of play, Karnataka get into the lead. Super sub Sunil Kumar is unmarked in the box from a corner and he slots it home to get Karnataka 3-1 up with the last 15 minutes left.

Services, despite their domination, have been unmindful in crucial moments to now be looking at a two-goal mountain.

Shafeel tries a long ranger which whizzes inches past Karnataka's goal. Services stepping into fourth gear as we enter the last half hour stage of the game.

Other Services forwards follow suit, lots of long rangers coming in.

Karnataka slow the pace down, the Services players are not impressed as they feel the players are taking too much time prostrate after getting tackled. They are attacking more than Karnataka, like in the first half.

Robin and Ankit, Karnataka's goalscorers, are both youth products of Bengaluru FC. 

The task for the second half for the southern side is to hold fort against the martial Services team.

Services threaten to equalise late in the half as the first half suddenly picks up pace. It's end to end stuff as the ref blows his whistle.

Services have looked the more likely to score, but it's Karnataka who came up with a double whammy late in the half to go in with a 2-1 lead.

All happening! After 40 goalless minutes, we have had 3 goals in 6. Karnataka score twice in reply to Thapa's goal. Robin Yadav equalises for Karnataka with a freekick in the 42nd minute before they get into a 2-1 lead through Ankith as we get into added time.

Thapa finds himself open on goal with the keeper out of his line. But can only find the outside of the netting as a defender's leg cpmes crashing through. But seconds later, Services do score! And through Thapa himself!
