The Indian women's football team suffered a second straight defeat at the AFC Women's Olympic Qualifiers round 2 as Vietnam beat Blue Tigresses 3-1 at Lokomotiv Stadium in Tashkent on Sunday. Sandhiya scored the lone goal for India. In the first match, India lost 0-7 to Japan. With two consecutive defeats, India's Paris Olympics dreams ended.
India will play host Uzbekistan in its final outing on November 1. The match will start at 5:30 PM IST.

The Blue Tigresses fought back in the second half after a dull display in the first half. Vietnam took a 2-0 lead in the first half with both goals coming from headers. Substitute Pham Hai Yen scored the third goal in the 73rd minute.
Indian substitute Sandhiya pulled one back in the 80th minute to reduce the margin of defeat. India lost the match 1-3. In the first match, India suffered a 0-7 loss to Japan.
