The second half began with a bang, as Jordan Murray extended Chennaiyin FC's lead almost immediately after the restart.
A miscue from Sana Singh allowed Ayush Adhikari to set up Jordan Murray for the goal.
Despite Hyderabad FC creating some chances towards the end of the match, their efforts fell short, and Chennaiyin FC managed to hold on for the victory.
