40' - Al Jazira SCORESSSS!

The ball brushes the hand of Mehtab Singh inside the box and it's a penalty for Al Jazira.

Ali Mabkhout steps up to take it and manages to slot it in. Nawaz once again got a hand to it, but could not stop it from going in this time. Right then, the deadlock has been broken.

38' - SAVE, NAWAZ!

Nawaz once again stands tall for Mumbai City FC and saves. A lovely move from Al Jazira but Diaby's shot is just about kept out.

33' - Playing the waiting game

Both teams are happy to play the waiting game at the moment. They are happy to keep the possession whenever they have it and slowly build it from the back with countless passes.

21' - Fall to the rescue

This keeps getting dangerous for Mumbai City FC as Al Jazira keeps attacking relentlessly. Al Ameri is in a scoring position now, but skipper Mourtada Fall comes to the Islanders rescue with a nice little push from behind to have the attacker off balance.

That could very well have been the first goal of the night.

18' - NAWAZ, SAVES!

A pin-point aerial pass right into the box right at the feet of Bruno, who shoots well but fails to get it past Mohammad Nawaz. Wonderful effort from the Mumbai goalkeeper there.

15' - Good stuff from Mumbai

Some wonderful through balls and nice little passes set up two half-chances for Mumbai City FC. Though none of them are converted, these are good signs for the Islanders.

7' - Amey Ranawade goes off

That's strange. There is no one near 10-feet of Amey Ranawade, but he is suddenly down on the ground holding his legs. The physio is out to tend the youngster and he walks off the pitch. Hopefully it is nothing serious.

2' - Mumbai City FC with the possession

A decent start for the Islanders as they enjoy the possession and slowly try to build from the back.
