Bowls, Women's Singles,Section C, India vs Zambia: Nayanmoni wins the match.!!!

Nayanmoni wins the match in straight sets, 17-2, 11-2, after putting on an incredible performance against the Zambian player.

The Zambian player won the opening points of the first set, but Nayanmoni soon took the lead and did not allow her opponent to make a comeback. She went on to win the set by a huge margin of 17-2.

Nayanmoni continued her strong performance in the second set, taking an early lead and winning it 11-2.

Boxing, Women's 51kg SF: Sakshi wins Round 1

The contest got underway and the LIVE feed was stuck on the Judo medal ceremony, where Yamini Mourya received silver.

The first round is almost done by the time we switch to Sakshi Chaudhary's bout, who is fighting on the blue corner.

It is a Sakshi dominance on the score card. She wins Round 1 unanimously.

Boxing, Women's 51kg SF: Sakshi Chaudhary fights for a spot in final

We are back with the boxing action after a short break. In the ring for India will be Sakshi Chaudhary in women's 51kg semi-finals.

She'll face off against Amber-Jane Wall of Canada.

Sakshi already has a medal assured and like five other Indians before her today, she'll hope to make it to the gold medal bout. 

Judo, Women's 57Kg Final: Yamini Mourya lost to Acelya Toprak on caution points; earns a silver medal

Yamini tried a very early arm throw but couldn't convert as Acelya Toprak of England showed excellent power and control.

Toprak tried to make some aggressive moves, but Yamini nullified everything and forced extra time for the golden point.

In the extended extra time, which lasted more than three minutes, Yamini conceded her third penalty, which means a red card, and Toprak won the bout.

India ends Day 1 of the Judo programme with three medals - 2 Gold and a silver.

Bowls, Women's Singles,Section C, India vs Zambia: Nayanmoni Saikia wins Set 1.

The player from Zambia started strongly by taking two points in End 1 of Set 1. However, after that, Nayanmoni took control of the game and dominated every end. She finished the set with a huge 15-point lead, winning it by a score of 17-2.

Judo, Women's 57Kg Final: Yamini Mourya Vs Acelya Toprak (ENG)

Yamini Mourya will be the third Indian judoka to be in action in the final today and will be aiming to complete a hat-trick of gold for India in judo.

She will take on Acelya Toprak of England, who is the reigning silver medallist from the 2002 edition.

Nayanmoni Saikia returns for her fourth match in the Games against Zambia at 10:20 PM IST. After losing two of her first three matches, she is now out of contention for a place in the semi-finals. However, she will look to improve her overall position her group. 

Judo, Men's 60Kg Final: Harsh Singh beats Joshua Katz on a Waza-ari to bag the gold medal

Both Judokas looked for ground wrestling for the first few minutes but couldn't really find any major scoring move, despite plenty of falls on their back.

But Harsh found a brilliant half arm throw in the final minute to score a Waza-ari against Joshua Katz of Australia to win the bout and India's second consecutive gold in Glasgow.

Judo, Women's 48Kg Final: Asmita Dey beats Hiedi Quach in final to win India's first-ever judo gold medal

Hiedi Quach of Canada scored the first point of the bout with an outside throw, registering a Yuko in the second minute.

Asmita bounced back with a leg tangle to score a Yuko for herself and level the score in the third minute.

The two judokas continued their offensive play but couldn't find any more score, and the bout entered extra time.

Within 25 seconds of extra time, Dey scored another Yuko with a leg tangle, which proved to be a golden point and gave her the gold medal.

Judo, Women's 48Kg Final: Asmita Dey Vs Hiedi Quach (CAN)

Asmita will be fighting for India's first-ever Judo gold medal at the Commonwealth Games at 8:45 PM IST.

She will take on Heidi Quach of Canada in the final.
