The second boxing gold for India! Amit Panghal redeems his Tokyo disappointment. A first gold medal won by an Indian male this year.

He did not have the height advantage but he landed much more punches on England's Kiaran Macdonald. No bias can keep Amit from the gold this time. He had won silver in the 2018 CWG.

Eldhose Paul, Abdulla Aboobacker and Praveen Chithravel will compete in men's Triple Jump final soon. The trio had competed in the 2022 World Championship in Oregon where Paul had reached the final & finished 9th.
