David Liti of New Zealand lifts 223kg in clean and jerk with his second attempt. That lift puts his total at 389kg.

That is the gold medal for New Zealand. And another silver medal in weightlifting for India.

Massive disappointment for Lovepreet, who still has improved the colour of his medal from four years ago!

David Liti, who lifted 166kg in snatch is the only competitor who can stop Lovepreet from winning a gold.

The Kiwi lifter has put 223kg for his second lift, which means Lovepreet will finish all his clean and jerk attempts first.

The Indian will attempt 217kg in the final attempt and hope for the best.

Lovepreet Singh continues to make this look easy. No signs of any pressure on his face. Comes in, takes his time and lifts 212kg.

He's now up to 388kg in total, which is now a new national record.

India's wait for a shot put medal at the Commonwealth Games continues as Tajinderpal finished in 5th place with a best of 20.27m.

He couldn't improve his mark on the final attempt, throwing 19.79m, and finished outside the podium.

He couldn't find anything better than his 20.03m from his third attempt, and hence finished 7th on his CWG debut.
