Neeraj Chopra - 84.85m (achieved direct qualification in the first attempt itself)

Sachin Yadav - 83.67m (qualified on 10th spot)

Rohit Yadav - 77.81m (finished 28th overall)

Yashvir Singh - 77.51m (finished 30th overall).

There were a total of 37 javelin throwers in contention, only 12 qualify for the final.
