After a dominating first 10 minutes or so, FC Goa found themselves leading thanks to Noah Sadaoui's individual brilliance. However, Aidy Boothroyd's men were quick to respond as Pratik Chaudhary flicked the ball into the back of the net. It was Rafael Crivellaro who gave Jamshedpur the lead through a perfectly-taken freekick, before Pronay Halder's shot deflected off Fares Arnaout leg to give the Men of Steel a two-goal cushion right at half time.
