Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand advance to the round of 16

The Indian pair did not have it that easy at court 4 as their counterparts Yu-Hs/Ting from Chinese Taipei started strongly and went blow for blow. However, once the initial dust settled, the Indians took the upper hand and never looked back. 

The script was identical in the second game as well, albeit the Taipei duo fought a bit more and prolonged what was an inevitable result for the Indians. They played with far more aggression and were in perfect sync, something their opponents lacked dearly.

Treesa and Gayatri now await their opponents for the round of 16 while the Taipei duo Yu-Hs and Ting make an early exit from the Malaysian Masters 2024.
