Neeru had another strong outing on day two, shooting 47/50 to remain at the top of the qualification standings for the second consecutive day, following her day 1 performance of 48/50 hits.
With one final series left on Tuesday, she will be targeting a place in the final and then an individual medal. The other two shooters, Manisha Keer (84) and Aashima Ahlawat (84), didn't have a very good day.
Meanwhile, the Indian women’s team currently sits in third place with 263/300 hits, trailing Kuwait at second by just two hits, and a strong final day could see them push for a silver medal.
