Wrestling, Men's Greco-Roman Final: Nitesh Siwach wins a silver medal after a 2-4 defeat to Japan's Yuri Nakazato

Nitesh Siwach won India's first Greco-Roman silver medal in 64 years after losing the final bout 0-4 to Japan's Yuri Nakazato.

The bout had a very slow start, but the Japanese wrestler won the first point, pushing Nitesh out of bounds and then added another point by passivity alongside the par terre.

Nitesh showed good defence in the par terre position but couldn't find any points and, in fact, gave a takedown in the second half, conceding the match and settling for silver.
