Stumps Day-1, India Vs Australia: Australia all out at 219, India 98 for 1

Indian women's team is looking themselves in a solid position after day-1 of the one-off test match against Australia.

Australia added 29 more rus in the final season after a crucial 28 run knock from the tailender Kim Garth. Sneh Rana takes the final wicket of Australian innings.

Indian openers gave a fiery start to the innings chasing 219 and built up a 90 run partnership. Shafali Verma loses her wicket at the end of day's play after making a quickfire 40 runs.

Sneh Rana replaced her as a night watchman and sill on the crease with Smriti Mandhana going into day-2 with the aim of getting big first innings lead.

2nd innings - India 98 for 1 in 19 overs (Smriti Mandhana 43(49), Jess Jonassen (4 runs for 1 wicket))
