That's all we have from India's campaign at the 2026 FIH Women's Hockey World Cup Qualifiers in Hyderabad.

It didn't end the way Sjoerd Marijne had hoped for, but the team did achieve what they set out for -- qualifying for the 2026 FIH Women's Hockey World Cup.

The coach wanted them to play attacking hockey and they did exactly that, remaining unbeaten until the final.

While Salima Tete and co have looked positive, it has to be noted that England in the final were the only higher ranked team they faced in the tournament and the scoreline in the match didn't look pretty.

There's still a lot of work to be done behind the scenes, if India are to be competitive come the World Cup in August.

Thank you for joining into our coverage! See you next time.
