Athletics: Sreeshankar qualifies for long jump final with first-attempt leap!

Murali Sreeshankar needed just one jump to book his place in the men's long jump final at the Commonwealth Games 2026.

The Indian produced a superb 8.01m effort with his opening attempt to breach the automatic qualifying mark of 8.00m, sealing his place in the final without requiring any further jumps.
