That's a wrap from the penultimate day of the 2026 Commonwealth Games.

India produced one of its finest-ever days at the Commonwealth Games, collecting medals across boxing, athletics, para athletics and judo on Saturday, headlined by a record-breaking haul of seven boxing gold medals and Gulveer Singh's historic distance-running double.

Praveen Chithravel (16.58m) and Selva Prabhu (16.52m) secured silver and bronze respectively in the men's triple jump. Meanwhile, in the para athletics arena, Soman Rana (13.40m) struck gold in the men's Shot Put F57, while compatriot Shubham Juyal (13.28m) delivered another Indian one-two finish.

India's successful campaign in Glasgow will now come to an end on August 2nd with three final medal events each in Cycling and Judo on Sunday.
