That's a wrap from the day! India added two more medals on Tuesday

Harjinder Kaur and Gulveer Singh stole the spotlight for India at the Commonwealth Games 2026, winning a silver medal each in the women's 69kg weightlifting and men's 10,000m, respectively, with record-breaking performances on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, three boxers - Preeti Pawar, Priya Ghanghas and Jadumani Singh - progressed to the semi-finals of their respective weight categories to guarantee themselves at least bronze medals.

Competition resumes on Wednesday with action across bowls, boxing, weightlifting, swimming, and athletics. A total of 10 medal events are scheduled across four sports.
