It is men's singles up next, and it will be the former world number 1 - Kidambi Srikanth for India. The 28-year-old would be raring to go after missing out on the Tokyo Olympics qualification.

He, however, is expected to face a stern challenge from Kunlavut Vitidsran. The duo has faced off once earlier, with Vitidsran winning the match in straight games at the 2020 Asian Team Championships.
