That's all we have from today from the Indian side in the Sudirman Cup 2021 at the Energia Areena in Finland. The day started off brilliantly for India with the men's doubles pair of Dhruv Kapila and Arjun MR registering a straight-games win, but things went downhill soon after.

The mixed doubles pair of Tanisha Crasto and Sai Praneeth fall to a 21-13, 21-11 defeat as India lose the tie 4-1.

Not an ideal start to her international career for Crasto, but the 18-year-old did show a lot of promise in her short stint on the court today.

11 match points for Dechapol and Sapsiree. 

India might be losing here, but keep an eye out for Tanisha Crasto. There seem to be something about different her.

The Indians have put up a much better show than the first game, but Dechapol and Sapsiree are just too good for their liking.

A very stark difference in the gameplay of the Indian pair. While Crasto seems to be aggressive, itching to put her opponent under pressure, we all know how laidback Sai Praneeth is!

This certainly is not helping the Indians one bit.
