Sindhu reaches final

Sindhu prevails in the semifinal. She wins the third game 21-13 as Busanan's shot goes wide.

What a comeback win for the Indian shuttler! She loses the first game badly 13-21, but forces the decider by winning the second game 21-16. 

This is Sindhu's first final since April last year when she played in the summit clash of Madrid Spain Masters. 

Sindhu will face Wang Zhi Yi in the final on Sunday. Wang beat compatriot Zhang Yi Man 21-9, 21-11 in the other semifinal. 

Final result: PV Sindhu beats Busanan Ongbamrungphan 13-21, 21-16, 21-12 in 88 minutes.
