Shooting, Women's 10m Air Rifle Qualification: Sonam finishes 3rd after relay-1; Vidarsa misses out on top 8

1. Sonam Maskar shot a good total score of 634.1 to finish the relay-1 in third place and will be expecting a place in the individual final.

Meanwhile, Vidarsa Vinod had a poor outing as she could only score 630.4 and is currently in 9th place, missing out on a place in the final.

The second relay will start in half an hour with 30 more shooters, including the third Indian, Elavenil Valarivan, who will be in action.

India is currently in tied third place in the overall team standings and will need Elavenil to shoot a brilliant end to have any chance of a team medal.
