Ummm, not an ideal start for India's day in Aichi-Nagoya. Priyanka Goswami, India's medal hopeful in women's marathon racewalk, has been disqualified.

She has been disqualified under rule TR54.75, for too many technical infractions. Extremely unfortunate for India.

Now India's hopes in the events rest on the shoulders of Manu Rani, the national record holder.
