So, no off-field, out-of-the-blue surfing medal for India either at the 2026 Asian Games. Kishore Kumar Anbarasu, the final Indian surfer left standing, is knocked out in the quarter-finals.

Kishore scores a total of 5.37, much lower than what he had in the early stages of the competition. And he is duly blown away from Philippines' Espejon Toby, who scores 8.53.

Kishore scored 3.00 in the first wave and 2.00 in his second.
