Olympic Games Paris 2024 Boxing LIVE: Indian boxers Amit Panghal, Jaismine Lamboria, and Preeti Pawar will be in action in the boxing ring on the fourth day of the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Amit lost his game against Zambian Patrick Chinyemba 4-1 and his Olympic campaign has come to a screeching halt, in the very first match.
Jaismine will play her first-round bout later tonight while Preeti will feature in her second-round bout after that.

As expected, Petecio takes round 3 as well, winning 4-1 and on aggregate, winning the match via an unanimous 5-0 verdict!
Much like Panghal, Jaismine also exits the Olympics in her first bout. Her attack was far too predictable and passive and Petecio, with all the experience behind her, managed the game expertly, dodging and attacking at the right times.
Most of Jaismine's punches missed the target, whereas most of Petecio's were right on the money.

The result looks more and more likely, Petecio is managing things so well.
A series of random jabs thrown by Jaismine but barely any landed on Petecio.
A little over 90 seconds to go and Petecio lands a good punch on Jaismine.
Better from Jaismine as she manages to get Petecio moving more but Petecio still seems to have the measure of the Indian.
Petecio knows she is in the lead as Jaismine has not landed any good punches and the former knows doing the basics is enough.
Petecio is doing brilliantly and the result is all but certain, unless Jaismine produces a miracle round 3. Anything can happen though.
