HS Prannoy pulled off a sensational comeback win against eighth seed Angus Ng Ka-long in the first round of the BWF World Championships in Huelva, Spain on Monday. Prannoy (World Rank 31) beat Ka-Long (World Rank 9) 13-21, 21-18, 21-19 to secure his first win over this opponent from Hong Kong for the first time in five years.Prannoy also became just the second Indian - after Kidambi Srikanth - to win his first round match at the World Championships this year as the Indian contingent continued its campaign on the second day.
