Lakshya Sen will be the first one to head out in just under an hour!

Lakshya Sen, who has been in a good form this season with an India Open crown, a German Open and All England silver to look back upon proudly.

The top-ranked Indian badminton player in men's singles is however on a winless streak currently at the Thomas Cup, having had to take on the fiercest of opponents from Chou Tien Chen, to Lee Zii Jia to Viktor Axelsen in the last three ties of India.

Today, Sen, the World No. 9, will look to deliver a win and get India started on the right note in this final - but Anthony Ginting won't be an easy challenge for Sen, either.

A lot of history is at stake here!

The odds are great today but first-time finalists India will hope to cash in on their magical run at the Thomas Cup 2022 so far and hope to upset the 14-time champions today when they clash racquets at the Impact Arena.

A slight change in India's squad

Up against formidable Indonesia, India has changed their squad slightly and replaced the doubles pair of Vishnuvardhan Goud and Krishna Prasad with the other young pair of MR Arjun and Dhruv Kapila.

In the previous two matches, Dhruv and Arjun did not play and therefore they will be well-rested and ready to attack today.

Everything else remains the same with Lakshya Sen leading against Ginting while Prannoy will be the last one out, if need be, to add finishing touches.

Let's gooo!
